The New Wave lamp by Danish designer Verner Panton has been designed in 1984. It is no more in production. The characteristic feature of this lamp is the horizontal wave pattern on the frosted glass of the light source. For the shade and reflectors Panton used basic geometrical forms (cylinder, sphere segments).
